Ceremonial Flow Cacao 250g
Ceremonial Flow Cacao 250g
Cocoa is far more than a mere stimulant. In its original form, it naturally contains theobromine – a bioactive plant alkaloid that is structurally related to caffeine but differs significantly in its effects.
Theobromine is considered to be gentler and longer-lasting than caffeine. While caffeine is often associated with a rapid rise and fall in alertness, theobromine is described as more even and less stimulating. Many people therefore value cocoa as a focused, clear alternative to coffee – without the typical "jitters" that some experience with caffeine.
This is complemented by cocoa's natural nutrient density: it naturally contains minerals such as magnesium as well as phytochemicals – including flavanols in particular, which have been intensively studied scientifically in recent years.
Studies such as the CoCoA Study observed that older participants with mild cognitive impairment showed improvements in attention and verbal fluency after eight weeks of regular cocoa consumption.
Large-scale studies such as the COSMOS Study with over 21,000 participants showed that cocoa flavanols were associated with a significantly lower cardiovascular mortality. In research, they are also linked to the formation of nitric oxide – a messenger substance that plays a key role in relaxed, flexible blood vessels.
After extensive tasting of various cocoas from all over the world, our choice deliberately fell on this cocoa from Peru – for its quality, its aroma and its special depth.
Prepared in warm water or plant-based milk at approx. 50°C , the result is a drink that is ideal as a daily ritual – for focus, presence and a conscious start to the day or a mindful break in between.

What do others say about healmeal?
Based on 100 customer reviews
What healmeal does differently
-
Pressure cooking
After soaking the legumes for our Main Meals for 12-24h, we cook them gently in the pressure cooker to preserve their nutrients.
-
Reverse-osmosis filtration
When we use water to prepare healmeal, we filter it thoroughly with reverse-osmosis technology first.
-
Generosity rule
Instead of marketing-sized portions, we'd rather put in even more of the good, expensive ingredients. Exactly the way we eat it ourselves.
Easy to take with you
healmeals come in a compostable meal container that's made for taking with you. If you prepare your healmeal on the go, you can eat straight from the container. #ZeroPlastic
Plastic-free packaging
Not only great for the environment, but also great for minimising your own intake of microplastics. (Yes, the sealing film too)
Down to the last Brazil nut

Frequently asked questions
What if I miss my delivery?
We pack and ship between Monday and Thursday, so during that time you'll get your DPD tracking to follow along either the same or the next day. Once it leaves our warehouse, the delivery stays frozen for about 48h thanks to the dry ice (in our experience). So if you're not at home during that window on the day it arrives, the healmeals will wait patiently to be stowed away in the freezer or straight in the fridge.Problems with your delivery? Just write to us: info@healmeal.de
Will one meal fill me up?
Our meals have around 800 clean calories on average, which keep you full for a long time thanks to their high share of fibre, protein and complex carbs. In our experience and from many independent customer reviews, 1 healmeal per meal is plenty, with optional toppings like sprouts, egg, feta or a slice of quality sourdough bread. Many women in particular report that one Breakfast lasts them 2 meals. The functional composition of healmeal isn't an empty marketing promise, it's our core value. We don't tolerate cheap fillers that fill your stomach for a moment but leave you feeling sluggish afterwards.
Can I take the meals to work?
The compostable meal container is designed exactly for that and is a key part of what makes healmeal work in everyday life. Since we don't use any plastic in the packaging, you can eat straight from the meal container after heating without a second thought. No washing up, no carrying dirty empty tins around all day. No bad conscience when you throw it away.
How do I prepare healmeal?
Peel off the sealing film and heat it straight in the meal container in the air fryer, oven or the method of your choice for about 10 minutes (MainMeal). For the Breakfasts, add plant milk / water and let it thaw briefly (ready in 3 minutes).
How do I dispose of the packaging correctly?
The meal container and sealing film are certified compostable to DIN standard. The sleeve and everything inside the frozen shipping box (dry ice bag, insulating layer, flyer, the cardboard itself) can go into the paper recycling without a second thought.
Why no organic certification?
In our eyes, organic doesn't automatically mean healthy or clean, which is why we haven't focused on making the investment for the certification so far. So although we use almost exclusively organic ingredients, we're not allowed to communicate that publicly without the certification. Rest assured, the purity of healmeal is a core value, which is why we align our partnerships accordingly – in water filtration, packaging and ingredient sourcing, among others.
